When you create an account
What our servers record automatically
A network address can suggest a general area, such as a city or region. We do not look it up, map it, or use it to target anything at you.
What we never collect
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We do not use it for behavioural advertising, ad targeting, or marketing email campaigns.
We share limited data with a small number of service providers, only as needed to run the Service. Each is an established company bound by its own privacy policy and by data-processing terms with us.
Authentication
Runs account creation, sign-in and session tokens. Handles your email address and name, plus a small flag recording that you accepted these Terms.
Database
Stores picks and account records. The only personal data held here is an internal account identifier and your subscription status — no names, no email addresses.
Hosting
Serves the website. Keeps standard server request logs, as described in section 1.
Payments — not active yet
The Service is currently free and no payments are processed. When paid plans launch, a PCI-DSS Level 1 payment processor will handle them. Card numbers go directly to that processor and never reach us — we only receive whether a charge succeeded.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else for commercial purposes. If you would like the current list of providers by name, ask us and we will send it.
When you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy, we record your acceptance. The record includes the version of the Terms you accepted and the approximate date of acceptance. The record is held server-side with your account details and is checked on future visits.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, financial records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable tax law).
Server logs are kept by our hosting provider under its own retention schedule.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
No method of internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings page. Deleting your account will remove your personal data from our active systems within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements. To exercise other rights, contact us at the address in section 12.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
To submit a CCPA request, contact us at the address in section 12. We will respond within 45 days.
The Service is restricted to United States residents aged 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a prominent notice on the site, and we will update the effective date at the top. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
